Hitler Particles is a pejorative slang term used by internet users to describe the aura radiating from a bigoted opinion online. The origin of the phrase is thought to be a Leon Trotsky quote about a "particle of Hitler " being in every petty bourgeois person. The use of the term grew on X after 2022, sometimes accompanied by a reaction image depicting a scanner device reading "HITLER PARTICLE EMISSION CONFIRMED."
