Horse in the Rain refers to an image macro of a horse standing in the rain, looking lonely. The original photograph was taken in 2012 by photographer Matt Hansen. It later became a GIF on Tumblr and then a reaction image in early 2023 on Twitter , used similarly to the Sitting Wolf image and other Staring Animal images.
