Jeffrey Epstein CCTV Footage Missing Minuterefers todiscussionsanddebatesabout nearly 11 hours of CCTV footage released by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI on July 7th, 2025. The tape reportedly shows video footage of a staircase and hallway leading to Jeffrey Epstein's cell and was released in an attempt to quellconspiracy theoriesthat Epstein did not kill himselfin his jail cell. Soon after the footage was released, some internet users claimed that the clock on the tape appears to "jump" from the 11:58:59 timestamp to 11:59:59 p.m., prompting discussions about a "missing minute" in the Epstein CCTV footage. Pam Bondi attributed the discrepancy to a built-in mechanism in the CCTV camera in a subsequent press conference. On July 11th, 2025, WIRED magazine published an article alleging that, according to the metadata retrieved from the video, the footage from Jeffrey Epstein's cell was edited with Adobe Premiere Pro, stitched from 2 clips, and was saved 4 times.
