Meme Keyboard
The Snagg Keyboard lets you search and insert memes in any app that accepts images - iMessage, WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter, Slack, and more.
Setup
- Open Settings > General > Keyboard
- Tap Keyboards > Add New Keyboard
- Select Snagg from the list
- Tap Snagg and enable Allow Full Access
Using the Keyboard
- Open any app with a text input
- Tap the globe icon on your keyboard to switch to Snagg
- Search for a meme or browse trending ones
- Tap a meme to insert it into your message
Privacy note: Full Access is required to send images. We never collect or transmit your keystrokes.
iMessage App
Send memes directly within iMessage without leaving your conversation.
How to Access
- Open a conversation in Messages
- Tap the App Store icon next to the text field
- Swipe to find Snagg, or tap the grid icon to see all apps
- Tap the Snagg icon to open the meme picker
Features
- Compact view: Quick horizontal scroll of trending memes
- Expanded view: Full search with grid layout
- Quick send: Tap any meme to instantly send it
- Recent memes: Your recently used memes appear first
Share Extension
Save memes from Safari, Twitter, Reddit, or any app to your Snagg collection.
How to Use
- Find a meme you want to save in any app
- Tap the Share button (or long-press the image)
- Scroll down and tap Save to Snagg
- Choose a folder (optional) and tap Save
Enabling the Extension
If you don't see "Save to Snagg" in the share sheet:
- Scroll to the end of the share sheet
- Tap Edit Actions
- Enable Save to Snagg
Home Screen Widget
See trending memes right on your home screen without opening the app.
Adding the Widget
- Long-press on your home screen until apps jiggle
- Tap the + button in the top corner
- Search for "Snagg"
- Choose a widget size (small, medium, or large)
- Tap Add Widget
Widget Sizes
- Small: Single trending meme
- Medium: 2 trending memes side by side
- Large: 4 trending memes in a grid
Tap any meme in the widget to open it in the Snagg app.
Siri Shortcuts
Use your voice to search for memes or access your collections.
Available Commands
- "Hey Siri, search for memes about cats"
- "Hey Siri, show my meme collection"
- "Hey Siri, what's trending on Snagg"
Custom Shortcuts
Create your own shortcuts in the Shortcuts app:
- Open the Shortcuts app
- Tap + to create a new shortcut
- Tap Add Action
- Search for "Snagg" to see available actions
- Add actions and save your shortcut
Syncing Across Devices
All iOS features share the same account and sync automatically:
- Sign in once in the main app
- Keyboard, iMessage, and Share extension share your session
- Collections sync to all your devices
- Recently used memes appear across all extensions
