Getting the App

The Snagg mobile app is available for both iOS and Android:

iOS

Download from the App Store. Requires iOS 15 or later.

Android

Download from Google Play. Requires Android 10 or later.

Navigation

The app has a simple bottom navigation with four tabs:

Home - Search and browse trending memes
Collections - Your saved memes and folders
Create - Make new memes
Profile - Account settings and preferences

Searching on Mobile

Find memes quickly with the mobile search:

Tap the search bar at the top of the Home tab
Type your search term
See autocomplete suggestions as you type
Tap a category pill to filter by category
Pull down to refresh results
Scroll to load more memes

Search Filters

Tap the filter icon to access advanced filters:

Sort - Relevance, Newest, or Popular
Format - Images, GIFs, or both
Time Period - Today, This Week, This Month, All Time
Featured Only - Show only curated content

Viewing Memes

Tap any meme to see the full detail view:

Full-size image with zoom support
Title, description, and tags
View count and save count
Source link (if available)
Related memes

Quick Actions

From the meme detail view, you can:

Save - Tap the heart to add to your collection
Share - Send to WhatsApp, Discord, iMessage, etc.
Download - Save the image to your photos
Copy Link - Get a shareable URL

Managing Collections

The Collections tab shows all your saved memes:

Tap "All" to see everything, or select a folder
Tap the "+" button to create a new folder
Long-press a meme to select it for batch actions
Long-press a folder to delete it
Pull down to refresh your collection

Creating Memes

Make memes right from your phone:

Go to the Create tab
Search for a template or browse popular ones
Tap a template to select it
Fill in the text fields
Choose a font style
Preview your creation
Download, share, or copy the URL

Importing on Mobile

Import memes from your photo library:

If you have an image copied, tap "Paste from Clipboard"
Or tap "Choose from Photos" to select images
Select one or multiple images
Choose a folder to save to
Tap Import
